Mashed Potatoes with Bacon
Mashing potatoes can be a tedious and time-consuming task. With this recipe, you can make them in as little as 20 minutes and they're delicious!
- 4 mid-sized potatoes
- 100 ml milk
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 slices of bacon (more, less, your choice)
- butter
- salt and pepper
Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water, massage with butter, and bake in a baking dish at 170° convection for 1-1.5 hours. It will be done if you insert a fork into the potato and it does not stick to it.
Remove the peel from the garlic cloves, dice them, and bake for 30 minutes in an oven-safe container drizzled with oil.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crispy in a pan, then cool and break it into little pieces.
In a saucepan, place the cooked potatoes with their skins and chop them roughly with a fork. Add the milk (cream), garlic, salt, pepper, and a small amount of butter and blend everything together. After that, add the bacon and season to taste with salt and pepper!
