When you need a quick meal that hits your macros, this one-pan dish is unbeatable. Shrimp is the ultimate protein “cheat code”.

It cooks in minutes and is almost entirely pure protein. Combined with fresh asparagus, you get a complete, healthy meal with practically zero cleanup.

  • Cook time: 10 mins
  • Total time: 15 mins
  • Servings: 2

  • 1 large bunch Asparagus, woody ends trimmed

  2. Cook Asparagus: Add the asparagus to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Push the asparagus to one side of the pan.
  3. Sear Shrimp: Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil to the empty side of the pan. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with the minced garlic, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
