- 1 lb (450g) Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 large bunch Asparagus, woody ends trimmed
- 2 tbsp Olive oil (divided)
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
- 1/2 Lemon (juiced) + extra slices for garnish
- Salt and red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Pan: Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook Asparagus: Add the asparagus to the skillet. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Push the asparagus to one side of the pan.
- Sear Shrimp: Add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil to the empty side of the pan. Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with the minced garlic, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Finish: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over everything and toss the shrimp and asparagus together for 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
